busy weekend. the boy got a new lawnmower and cut the grass all purdy. i think it'll take a couple more mowings before it's fully under control but es nice to not have a jungle out there anymore. got some new plants for the front flower-bed. i hope they do ok cause they're in a shady spot and nothing else i've planted likes the shade as much as the packaging said they would. bah. stupid plants don't know what's good for them. maybe i should transplant them to the middle of the yard and see how they like THAT. heh. the english ivy that i got is supposed to make for good ground cover so if it takes over, i'm gonna be all kinds of busy training it where to go. good times. um... let's see. what else? a nicole is never online anymore. :( i sad about that but i guess i could make a point of finding a way to her house once in a while. es impossible to do this month but mebbe we'll have a lil party and convince her to come over hura and we can make with the plans. i miss my nicole. next weekend, the parents are supposed to meet up with us somewhere for a little bit of a 'meet and greet'. or something. i think they'll all get along just fine. there's bound to be some long-winded episodes in there tho. should be interesting. at least we'll have Ben around for entertainment. :)
