today i realized how very cool Rilo Kiley is. i don't know why i'd never heard of them before but i'm just in awe. so. yeah. good stuffs. we have some sort of cable tv today. this morning, about 9.15, i was playin' around on the computer and noticed that a man was climbing the pole in our alley. i watched him for a few seconds and realized it was the same man that screwed up the disconnect order and picked up our box, leaving the normal cable stuff still connected. aaaaaaanyway. i see him put his ladder away and notice then that the internet is not just slow, it's deader than dead. i look out the window to see if he's still outside and i see him speeding backwards down the alley. no internet. no tv to watch. so the boy calls and bitches out the cable tv tech because they immediately sought to transfer him to internet support. the same internet support that has a 30 minute hold time because of the new Worm that's out. finally talks to a manager person and gets them to agree to have a tech come out and turn the intarweb back on. long story, innit? bet you're tired. so, a couple hours later, intarweb works again and most of the tv channels are gone. all but sho-time and hbo and the local stuff. rarr. i shouldn't complain. i have other things to do and this was giving me time to do those things. but i'm too freakin' lazy, you know. i should be making a dress. or baking something. or cleaning. or... something. i don't know. go away. you're tired of reading this.
