i wonder why we're ok with dropping off pets for surgery and picking them up later but we wouldn't do that to any human. "johnny needs to have that gash in his leg stitched up before he bleeds to death" "ok, i'll drop him off at the hospital on the way to work and pick him up when i get off. you need anything from the store?" "no, i'm good. find out how much the surgery's gonna cost first, will you? i might have forgotten to pay the electric bill this month." someday... it will be that common place. |
